Showtime U - September 23, 2026

We’re back with another edition of the Showtime U Blog, Protection United’s weekly in-season blog talking about the Protection United crew’s performance in the past week. As the high school football season rolls on will be keeping an eye out for any big time performances from members of the Protect U Crew. Here are the biggest performances from the fourth week of the season!

Showtime U Stats

2027 Klein Cain running back Eyan Johnson had an incredible night against Tomball with 22 Carries for 190 yards. Johnson also contributed one reception and seven yards in the aerial attack and tallied five total TDs on the evening. Next up for Johnson and Klein Cain is a visit to Magnolia West.

2027 running back Tyce Hudson of Klein Collins continued his impressive campaign with ten carries for 70 Rushing Yards. The versatile back also contributed as a receiver with one reception for five yards and a touchdown.

2027 Ridge Point Defensive Back Thomas Tucker Jr. turned in a massive performance against Strake Jesuit with eight tackles, five pass break-ups, one interception, and one forced fumble as Tucker and Ridge Point continued to build momentum in the 2026 season. Next up, Ridge Point will take on Fort Bend Clements this Friday.

2027 edge defender Dawson Siegert of Tomball had a strong night with ten tackles including one tackle for loss against Klein Cain last Friday. Siegert and Tomball will be off this Friday.

2027 Magnolia West safety / linebacker Dawson Campbell’s incredibly productive season continued against Klein Forest as “The Duke” notched 11 tackles. Campbell is averaging double-digit tackles this year and leads his district in the statistic. Campbell and the Mustangs will face off against Klein Cain this week.

2028 Quarterback Ryson Nunez of New Waverly turned in a fantastic performance as he went 21/31 on passing attempts for 228 yards passing and two touchdowns. Nunez also added 69 yards on ten carries with two touchdowns on the ground. Nunez and New Waverly are up against Hempstead this week.
