Showtime U - September 16, 2026

It’s time for another edition of the Showtime U Blog, Protection United’s weekly in-season blog highlighting some of the best performances from the Protection United Crew. The season continues to roll on, and we’re excited to talk about some of the biggest stats from the most recent week of action.

Showtime U Stats

2027 RB Tyce Hudson of Klein Collins was incredibly efficient in action against Tomball Memorial with four carries and four catches for 164 total yards and four total touchdowns. Next up for Hudson and Klein Collins is a matchup with the Magnolia Bulldogs.

Tyson Craft, 2027 RB at Fort Bend Elkins, rushed for an impressive 163 yards and four touchdowns against Clear Falls. Next up for Craft and Elkins High is a district showdown against Fort Bend Hightower.

2027 Opelika RB Jalen Nelson continues to show out as he had 21 carries and one reception for 216 total yards and two TDs against Central High (Phenix City, AL). Nelson and Opelika will face off against JAG High School (Montgomery, AL) this week.

Jamarcus Nickerson, 2027 DB at Montgomery, notched ten tackles and also had a massive impact on special teams with two blocked punts against Oak Ridge. The Bears and Nickerson will take on Lake Creek in the Montgomery Bowl in Week Four.

2027 Tomball DB / WR Chance Green made an impact on both sides of the ball as he notched one tackle and one sack on defense. On the offensive side of the ball, Green had two catches for 37 yards and a touchdown against Klein Forest. Next up for Green and Tomball is a district matchup with Klein Cain.

Kingston Beyer, 2027 defensive tackle at All Saints (Fort Worth, TX), turned in a monster performance with nine tackles and four sacks against Prestonwood Christian in his fourth game of the season. Beyer and All Saints will face off against Lovejoy this week.

Highly touted 2028 edge David Dotson of Atascocita secured six tackles and two sacks in action against Dickinson. Next up for the Eagles and Dotson will be a district game against Humble.
